ON LENE

Lene Thomsen

With more than thirty-five years of experience in, with, and around organizations and management I bring complex and deep knowledge into our collaboration. I strive to talk in plain and common language for everybody to understand and relate.

My drive Is closely related to sensemaking, going with the energy, and facilitating to support action for all of us to be wiser and more aligned. The speed needs to support both reflection, grounding and going ahead.

Throughout my career I have added new knowledge and education as love of learning is a strong motivator for me. I hope we can bring all that into play directly or indirectly to support your aspirations.

Way of working

Working with taking perspective is at the core of how I work. I have a broad experience with including a range of theoretical stands - sometimes together, where that makes sense. I underline maturing perspective taking as a central competence for navigating the complexity of organizations and life of today.

I add perspective myself by among other things involving myself in further education, I have added a 9 months international, integral facilitator certification to my candidate in psychology (Cand.Psych.) and my business diploma (HD-O). This year I will start an existential specialization primarily for doctors and psychologists.

My path so far

I have 20+ year as a business psychologist and consultant; as employed, as independent and 10 years as a partner in HR7. Since 2020 I have been self-employed and own Intenzion Aps.

Before studying psychology, I worked 7 years in logistics by Maersk in Denmark and USA – primarily in the container business. The last year as a manager, before I decided to go to Copenhagen University to further study my interest in understanding people.

I have always been curious and observant on how we are able to constructively make things happen – even if there are obstacles along the way.

Why Intenzion?

Intention means consciously directing focus and attention with an aim and aspiration. When we have a clear intention, we can focus our attention and be curious, make decisions and act in way that support the direction and purpose we aim for.
